Google accounts and Intune: When, what and how!

So, let's start with which types of integrations we can activate in Intune to connect with Android [Google]:

  1. Managed Google Play Store
Used to deploy applications that are enrolled to Itnune.

A standard Gmail account that has med been created as a corporate account, which is a checkbox when creating the account. Super simple to create, no big deal!

  2. Android Zero Touch
Used for linking the Android Enterprise Zero Touch portal with Intune.

A Entra ID account that you need to create in your Entra ID, needs to have a mailbox so you can recivie mail notifications. This account is the account you will give to your vendor so they can create the login to Android Enterprise on your company's behalf.

  3. Chrome Enterprise Connector
Used for connecting Google Workspace to Intune for management of Chromebooks
[ Very few management options is avialiable]

A Google workspace accont that you need to pay for. This account creates a Workspace for your company in the Google Cloud. This account is then used in Intune to connect to Android Enterprise via the Google Admin Console using client connection id etc. This needs extra consideration , so take your time to set up a working strategy for namningstandars etc.

Go 4 it ! 😊
